Manage Field Data

The Field Data Page displays site visit records, field observations, and sandmass data records originating from field staff.

This page is configured as multiple tabs that each contains a basic data grid with cross-filtering options. See the sections on working with data grids and filtering with charts for more information.

Edit a Site Visit Using Survey123

Once site visits make it to the database and are visible on the OLIVE website, they are "locked" by default. You can unlock a record on the website to allow edits from the iPad (Survey123) with the following steps:

  1. Go to the Field Data Page and choose the tab for the corresponding site visit type.
  2. Click the button on the data grid and toggle on the column "Is Locked"
  3. Edit the record, and uncheck the "Is Locked" checkbox. Save the record.
  4. Re-send the edited form from Survey123.
  5. The record will update on the website at the next 15-minute hour fraction (:00, :15, :30, or :45).
